“Maranatha Aussies: Where Loyalty, Intelligence, and Excellence Meet”

Trey Maxey
Canine Socialization Specialist & Assistant
My Story
Trey has a natural connection to animals, especially the dogs and puppies at Maranatha Aussies. As a Canine Socialization Specialist & Assistant, he plays an important role in helping puppies feel safe, loved, and ready to take on the world.
For Trey, the perfect day starts with exploring the farm — dogs in tow — running, playing, and enjoying the outdoors. Whether he’s studying trees, plants, or insects, he’s always fascinated by how everything in nature works together. And no matter what he’s doing, there’s always a dog (or two or three) by his side.
Beyond puppy playtime, Trey is actively involved in caring for the adult dogs. He helps with scheduled weigh-ins, ensuring each dog stays at a healthy weight with the right diet adjustments. He also helps maintain fencing and structures on the farm alongside his dad, making sure all the animals stay safe. His love for building things is evident — he and his sister even constructed their own clubhouse, designed at ground level so the dogs and puppies could come and go as they pleased.
Trey has recently begun training as an assistant obedience trainer, learning how to teach foundational commands and build strong relationships between dogs and their future families. He enjoys understanding the “why” behind things, always looking for better ways to improve processes. His curiosity and love for problem-solving are leading him toward a future in science or engineering.
Whatever needs to be done, Trey is always ready to jump in and help. His kind heart, hands-on approach, and natural curiosity make him a valuable part of the Maranatha Aussies team, ensuring that every dog and puppy gets the best possible start.
